Transfer Options

The Basic Fundamentals

Blue Lagoon Beach Resort is located 47 nautical miles from the Fijian mainland, on Nacula Island, in the “blue Lagoon” part of the Yasawa Island Group. You really have 3 options. You can take the most common form of transport which is the Yasawa Flyer listed below – this is the large catamaran that ‘cruises’ up and down the island chain daily – one time up, and you guessed it, one time back, so the times are very much set in stone. It leaves the mainland at 8.30am towards the islands, and arrives back to the mainland every day at the same time of 6pm.

The other options are air – you can choose the more economical Turtle Air which offers per seat rates on their charters which you need to organise direct with them, or you can do what we affectionately refer to as the Rock Star arrival in either a private chartered seaplane or helicopter. Both these final options are approx. FJD$2000+ per way.

Getting Around on the Mainland

We will help to co-ordinate your transfers with you on the expected day of arrival to the resort, whether you are needing to go to the marina or need to organise a taxi to the seaplane. Our dedicated transfer team will automatically be in touch once your booking is confirmed and take it from there.

Seaplane Service

Turtle Airways is happy to offer per seat rates on one of their many daily chartered flights to the islands. As we are a separate company, they have asked that we provide you with a fact sheet and you then confirm your schedule direct.

The advantage is that you are often able to land into Nadi and then take the 15 minute ride to the Turtle Airway base located half way between the airport and Denerau.
The cost is around approx. $300 per person ONE WAY and will have you enjoying the most scenic ways to explore the yasawa island group and arriving at Turtle Island in just 30 mins!
We then come and collect you at a rate of $20 per person for your transfer over to Blue Lagoon Beach Resort.
It doesn’t get much easier than that!
Keep in mind, that this is a great opportunity to not have to spend a nite on the mainland if you prefer not to.

As we do not have access to their schedule or availability, Turtle Airways have asked that you contact them personally as they will require specific information such as passenger weight, cc details and international flight schedules.

South Sea Cruises

“South Sea Cruises” operate a big yellow catamaran which departs Denaurau Marina daily at 8.30am and arrives at the Blue Lagoon at 12.30 am, and then returns to take guests back to the mainland, arriving back at Denaurau Marina at 6.30pm each day. You can of course purchase your tickets directly at the marina on the day of your schedule transfers, or we can do this for you.

Remember, we are always happy to help you with any issues relating to your arrival or departure details.
